Happy Anniversary

Posted by Picasa
In just a few hours Mat and I will have officially been married for nine years. In some ways it feels like forever ago, and in others it seems like I was walking down the isle
towards him just yesterday.
Mat is everything I ever wanted in a husband. He is kind and caring.
He always wants the best for me and he does his best everyday
to let me know how much he loves and cares about me.
He is an awesome dad. I love watching him and Riley together. They play and laugh
and you can see how much Riley adores his daddy and how much Mat is in
awe of Riley.
We have had our share of ups and downs, joys and sorrows, triumphs
and failures, but through it all we have had each other, and I know that our
love for each other has only grown stronger as the years have passed.
Mat is the man I want to grow old with.
It is such a blessing to have such a constant in my life. We don't always see eye to eye, or share
a lot of the same interests, but I know with all of my heart that Mat is the one whom God
chose for me, and I feel so blessed for all he brings to my life.
He is my past, my present, and my future.
Mat, I hope you know how much I love and cherish you.
Thank you for loving me and being the amazing husband and father you are.
I am looking forward to our adventures in the next nine years to come.
You are my everything!
Love,
Amy

As Promised Jimmy Buffet Pictures

Well here they are pictures from our trip to Vegas to see Jimmy Buffett.
We had a lot of fun and I have no idea who most of the people in the
pictures are, we just liked their costumes
These people were interesting????

These people had palm trees attached to their backs

Not sure about these guys, but we needed a picture with them for sure

This lady stole Mats beer right out of his hand and took off. It was pretty funny.

The shark on this guys hat actually rotated around in a circle.
it was pretty awesome

The dude standing next to me kept popping up. We have like 10
random pictures with this guy in them.

Kelly and I got some sweet Tattoos

Taken hostage

Yes this lady is wearing a boat
We had such a great time with Kelly and Brian. The 4 of
us travel well together and good times are never far away,
especially when Jimmy Buffet is involved.

Until next time....Cheers!!!

The next President Elect....

What an AMAZING night. I was absolutely glued to the TV.
To see so many people come together, isn't that what America is all about.
No matter what your political beliefs are, we are a great nation
and last night proved that to me once again. I think we have some
tough uphill battles ahead but this morning I woke up a little
more hopeful about my future and the future of this country.
I am so proud to live here, and to be here to witness history in the making.
GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!

Here I am with my new niece Kinley.
Yes, I have on an Elvira wig

Sadie and Riley sitting still for a few seconds and actually smiling

We went Trick -or- Treating at the Provo Mall.
The kids wanted to play in the cars instead

SUCKY!!!

I got laid off from my job at the bank today. I am so sad and mad and hurt and angry. My eyes feel like they are going to pop out of my head from crying so damn much. I so wanted to come home and write all about my fun trip to Vegas but I just don't feel like it. Mostly I just feel like laying in bed in hopes I will wake up from a bad nightmare.

To any of my fellow co-workers who may be reading this, thank you for being such awesome people. For almost 7 years I got to come to a job everyday that I loved, and that is because all of you made it so much fun. I have made some wonderful friends that I will treasure always. I hope to be able to come back to the bank and work with you all again really soon.

To my family and friends, thank you for your support and words of encouragement. I know Mat and I may have some rough months ahead, but it makes it a little easier knowing I have all of you.

Lastly if anyone hears of any great part time jobs and wouldn't mind passing the word along to me that would be great, whether it's babysitting or at another bank, or just odd jobs. And I do give a great massage if any one is in need. Ü For now I will just enjoy some time with Riley.

Thanks again for everything.

Love you all
Ames

Pumpkin Land

We went with Kelly, Brian, Braden, Ty & Kobe to Pumpkin land yesterday.
Ty, Kobe & Riley hamming it up
YES!!! We picked the correct path and not a dead end.
Running through the Corn Maze handing mom rocks and dirt

Check out these big Pumpkins for the bargain price of $45.00 There is apparentlly a fierce Scarecrow competition

Riley and Kobe exchanging a serious conversation about which super hero
they think has the best powers and why
Who knew we made such cute Ghosts & Bats
All the kids participating in one picture....this was a chore

Riley running fast as usual

The Great pumpkin

We had a fun time and on the way out the kids all picked out a pumpkin to bring home.
Riley wanted a really big pumpkin, to go with his already large pumpkin
collection, so daddy had to do all the heavy lifting.
All in all I would call the morning a success.

6 Quirky things about me

1-I cannot go to sleep if my closet doors are open. I am sure the closet monster will eat me in my sleep if he is not locked up tightly.

2-I cannot get dressed until my makeup and hair are done. I put my nightgown back on when I get out of the tub, and do not put on my work clothes until I am ready to leave.

3- I hate driving. I don’t mind being in a car, but I hate being the driver. I am a much better passenger. This is probably why my sense of direction is so terrible because I am never paying attention to where we are because I am reading, or looking at a magazine, crocheting, talking, etc.

4- I collect Santa’s. I have all kinds and probably about 20 of them at present

5- I have to wear Jewelry. I feel naked without it. You will very rarely see me with out all my jewels on. This runs in my family. I don’t know if they have a help line for this or not.

6- I am a planner. I like to plan. I like to know what is going on and how it is going to affect me. This is really annoying to some people. This is not to say that I can’t be spontaneous, but I would rather have a plan than be sitting twiddling my thumbs wondering what the hell we are going to do. Now do plans change..Heck yea…but I can roll with it.

I tag anyone who feels compelled to share this info with the rest of us.

Spookables all around

On Friday Grandma Teri let Riley bring home some Pumpkins that she grew in her garden.

Riley and I headed off to the store to find some pumpkin decorating items.

We found these really cool plastic faces that I thought would work way better than giving my 2 year old a knife. We also got some markers to color the little pumpkins

The 3 of us had fun putting the faces on the two bigger pumpkins. Riley was so proud to put them outside for everyone to see. Its funny to listen to him tell them to stay on the porch every time we leave in the car. We also had fun coloring the little ones. As you can tell we may be a little lacking in the artistic department, but we had a great time, and Riley colored a pumpkin for Grandma Teri all by his self. He can't wait to give it to her.
